We wanted to highlight the armed forces charities and organisations that support The Ripple Pond. We rely on external grants, support and donations to be able to continue to provide peer support.

Walking with the Wounded: Ripple Pond supporter

The Ripple Pond has partnered with Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) to deliver a project in the North East of England to support ex-servicemen and women, their families and carers. For some ex-servicemen and women – those that perhaps need more significant support – the route to care can look complex and often inaccessible. The Northern Care Coordination Partnership (NCCP) is an impactful and innovative service that can be replicated across the UK.

Veterans' Gateway: Support of The Ripple Pond

The Veterans’ Gateway puts veterans and their families in touch with the organisations best placed to help with the information, advice and support they need – from healthcare and housing to employability, finances, personal relationships and more.

The Sun 50 Grant Winner

We are proud to have won a Sun 50 grant, celebrating ordinary people doing extraordinary things. We want to say thank you to wonderful members as we know it was one of you that nominated us!

Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principal charity of the Royal Navy. It exists to support sailors, marines and their families, for life. The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity has provided financial support to The Ripple Pond.

Lloyd's Patriotic Fund: Supporter of The Ripple Pond

Founded in 1803, Lloyd’s Patriotic Fund is the oldest military charity of its kind. They focus on improving the transition to civilian life for veterans and their families who need the most help. Since 2010, LPF has donated more than £3.2 million to support serving and ex-service personnel and their families. Today, Lloyd’s Patriotic Fund unites support from the market to aid the successful transition to civilian life for veterans and their families to ensure successful futures.

The Confederation of Service Charities

Cobseo is the Confederation of UK Service Charities. It provides a single point of contact for interaction between military-related charities and Government agencies, the Private Sector, and other members of the Armed Forces Community. The Ripple Pond is a member of Cobseo.
